Service Pack 31.003 marks the beginning of chart support in List & Label Cross Platform with initial 2D Pie and Donut charts, adds official support for ZUGFeRD 2.5, expands barcode and DataGraphic capabilities, and delivers further improvements for PDF handling, the Web Report Designer, and the Report Server.

For a detailed list of all changes, please refer to the ServicePack.pdf included with your installation or visit the Service Pack download area.

Features

Cross Platform

  • Added basic support for 2D Pie and Donut charts.
  • Added support for variables in the project converter, such as project references within variables.
  • Added an IPP printing backend for Windows.
  • Added support for FIM, Pharmacode, MSI, Code11, Postnet, Japanese_Postal, IntelligentMail, ISBN, EAN14, UCC14, SCC, EAN128_Full, Rm4ACC_CRC, DP_Leitcode, DP_Identcode, German_Parcel, PZN and PZN8 barcodes.
  • Added support for MaxiCode and MaxiCode/UPS barcodes.
  • Added support for GS1 DataBar, GS1 DataBar Truncated, GS1 DataBar Stacked, GS1 DataBar Stacked Omni, GS1 DataBar Limited and GS1 DataBar Expanded barcodes.
  • Added support for DataGraphic objects and table fields.

Export

  • PDF/ZUGFeRD: Official support for the ZUGFeRD format in version 2.5.

Web Components

  • WRD: TableFieldRtf fields can now be utilized within tables by employing variables with LlFieldType.RTF.

Improvements

Designer

  • Introduced LS_OPTION_COMBINATIONPRINT_PROJECTFILENAME to allow a page-dependent query of either the full filename or the repository ID of the project, which will now also be stored in the storage file. For convenience, this also works when not dealing with multiple projects within a combination print.

Cross Platform

  • The ProjectConverter class can now also be used on end-user machines. To enable this, the ProjectConversionOptions include a property named LicensingInfo that must be set.
  • Expanded barcode content to include binary and tilde-encoded sequences. Support for parsing and expanding {binary:...} syntax, together with tilde-encoded sequences (~dNNN, ~hXX, ~~), has been added for PDF417, QR, and MaxiCode barcodes.

PDF Object

  • Shading bitmaps are now compressed, drastically reducing the size of the result.
  • Changed the kind of conversion for black/white bitmaps (scans/faxes), drastically improving speed and size.
  • If a PDF document contained defective CFF fonts (fonts that GDI cannot render), these are now converted into TrueType.

Web Components

  • WRD: Introduced the OnProvideWebReportViewerMVCOptions callback to provide options to the Web Report Designer Preview.
  • WRD: When using completion suggestions in the formula editor, they will now be better integrated into the existing formula, automatically converting to the required type and appending with a “+” sign.
  • WRD: When activating the AutoFill property on a crosstab’s group label, it will notify the user if a requirement for it to work is not met.
  • WRD: When downloading a project file, the Initialize property of ProvideListLabelContext is now set to true, as no data source is required for project downloads.

Export

  • Improved accessibility attributes for image objects rendered as <div>.

Report Server

  • Routine Assistant will now reset parameter values when a different routine is selected.
  • Routine Assistant will now display a hint when the previously defined routine was not found and will not fall back to the first routine when displaying.
  • PostgreSQL will now display an appropriate error message when a defined routine is not found because it has been renamed or deleted when the user tries to use the datasource.

Security

.NET

  • Updated MongoDB.Driver to version 3.10.0 to mitigate transitive security issues.

Other

  • Addressed vulnerability CVE-2026-12912 in libtiff with a possible heap buffer overflow while compressing with PixarLogDecode in the PIXARLOGDATAFMT_8BITABGR format. This functionality is currently not used by List & Label.
